Associate Product Marketing Manager

The Associate Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the outbound marketing activities for specific product groups. You will coordinate closely with the sales, marketing, purchasing and product development teams to ensure the products are launched properly through multiple channels within the company as well as with sales reps, distributors and retailers. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to juggle numerous activities at once is crucial.

• Product management: work with all the cross functional teams within the organization to ensure assigned products are set up in the proper way at launch and present a complete and cohesive package to the sales team for successful sales
• Contribute to the strategy and management of the marketing programs that drive demand for the products in assigned categories
• Work with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute unique product assortments and promotions to build sales and increase awareness
• Responsible for ongoing monitoring and evaluation of brand and product presence online
• Responsible for aiding in gathering, conducting, organizing and reporting product and market related information. Market research will include quantitative and qualitative methodologies
• Support CRM development and product data maintenance
• Develop and deliver product presentations to sales force and customer service teams
• Support sales team in communicating and managing forecasts
• Work closely with supply chain to control inventory to meet inventory and sales objectives
• Assists in coordinating and staffing trade and consumer shows, as needed. Available to travel for consumer events and research opportunities
• Communication requirement: responsible for keeping the Product Marketing Director up to date with daily activities and challenges

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in marketing, account management or project management
• Solid financial and business acumen and ability to handle numerous products simultaneously
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Strategic thinker who is also extremely detail oriented
